Semi Tostado takes a comprehensive look at the arrested development of independent coffee farming in Puerto Rico. As agri-business begins to engulf and overwhelm the farmers, a new pest comes into play: La Broca, a coffee borer beetle that attacks the beans from the inside out.

This film tells the story of a boy who is bullied by his peers and molested by his father. The unconditional love of his mother is crucial in his search of identity as a gay person in Puerto Rican society.

3. Die Standing Up

We meet the son of Mexican communist militants, with ideological and physical resemblance to Che Guevara. When faced with a fatal illness that leaves him in a wheelchair, he decides to start a life through a personal revolution to welcome the woman inside him.
