Join us for a hands-on printmaking open studio led by Eric J. Garcia, creator of the controversial political cartoon series El Machete illustrated. Participants will create artwork in the form of postcards around the interrelated topics of immigration and environmental justice.
Eric J. Garcia is known for mixing history and culture with contemporary themes. He always tries to create art that is much more than just aesthetics. Garcia has exhibited nationally, to institutions like the National Museum of Mexican Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit.
