¡Hasta Pronto, Farewell Yehimy!
On February 6th, the LCC staff hosted a small gathering to recognize Yehimy Montes for her community work and commitment to our center and its students. Yehimy started as a student intern and was later hired as a Program Coordinator; specializing in the Civic Cinema public program series. Yehimy’s passion for social justice, human rights, environmental sustainability and cultural understanding reflected highly in her work, and we are honored to say that she has become a valuable warrior and ally of the LCC.
We are grateful to have worked with Yehimy, and we are confident that her drive and commitment will take her to great things in the future. Her positive energy will be missed, but we hope that she visits us soon with her beautiful son Pablito.
