Crafting creative responses to hate speech
On November 13th, 2018 the LCC hosted Theatre of the Oppressed: crafting creative responses to hate speech as part of their ongoing Artivism public program series. Teresa Veramendi, co-founder of Theater of the Oppressed Chicago, led attendants in an interactive workshop where they were able to use acting as a medium for creating creative responses to hate speech in our communities.
