Presented by the UIC Latino Cultural Center and Center for Research on Women & Gender
The reproductive justice framework, popularized by women of color activists in the reproductive rights movement, allows for comprehensive and cross-cutting work to support women and families that is crucial in today’s political climate. During this interactive presentation, Miriam Zoila Pérez will talk about her work as a queer writer, activist and doula, and how it connects to the broader movement for reproductive justice.
