Presented by: UIC Latino Cultural Center, The Freshwater Lab, and the Native American Support Program
Join us in a discussion with Water Protectors and allies who are involved in the current situation in Standing Rock and other areas to stop the construction of the North Dakota Pipeline. Through first-hand accounts we will learn about the environmental risks and cultural threats that moving crude oil presents to the Standing Rock Sioux and all Native nations, as well as other people in the Midwest.
