Presented by: UIC Latino Cultural Center in partnership with the Department of Anthropology, Latin American and Latino Studies Program, and the National Museum of Mexican Art
- How has chocolate connected to your life?
Inspired by the success of our chocolate series, the UIC Latino Cultural Center is creating an exhibit at the UIC Daley Library opening on April 2015.
- Did you come home from a long day of sledding and drink hot cocoa from a particular mug?
- Does your abuelita serve her famous mole with a particular spoon?
Objects like these tell precious stories, and we want to include YOUR stories and artifacts through the library display, and the dynamic digital online exhibit coming soon. We invite you to bring in an object or photo, tell us your story, and you could be included in this exhibit!
Lena Guerrero Reynolds is a graduate student in UIC’s Museum & Exhibition Studies Program, a former educator at the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum, and current Graduate Assistant at the UIC Latino Cultural Center.
