Leading the night will be our featured poet: Ayoko Djissego

•What can we do as individuals and as a community to help the environment?
•How do we keep corporations accountable for their environmental impact?

Ayoko is an English major with a concentration in professional writing. Growing up, she loved to write novels, and she always knew she would pursue a path in writing. She appreciates raw honesty in writing, and that is something that she tends to incorporate into her own writing. She wants her poems to be able to relate to experiences, personal and general, that reveal the reality of circumstances in society and amongst individuals.
