Spooky Rhythms of the Haunted Past

October 11, 2012

5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Presented by: UIC Latino Cultural Center

Join the UIC Latino Cultural Center, Mexican Students de Aztlan (MeSA), Students for the Advancement of Freedom, Equality and Human Rights (SAFEHR), Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), and Union for Puerto Rican Students (UPRS) for Noche de Poetas (Poetry Night).

Don’t miss the amazing talented poets as they share their own poetic words on this month’s theme “Haunted Tales.”

  • Have your grandparents ever told you scary legends from the past?
  • Have you ever experienced a phenomenon that couldn’t be explained?
  • Have you seen or felt something that made your skin crawl?

Come and share the unexplained! Leading the poetry will be our featured poet Louie Mendez.

If you require any accommodations please contact us at least three days before the event.
