Join Barbara Sostaita, PhD, Esmeralda Arrizón- Palomera, PhD, and Jorge Mena Robles, MA, at IPCE’s Civic Engagement Lunch Talk Series.
University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) students have played an important role in undocumented social movements, both in Chicago and in the U.S. This presentation will share how the team collected oral histories from past UIC student activists who participated in these movements from the mid-2000s to the 2010s to create a public digital archive.
