Join the UIC Latino Cultural Center, Latin American and Latino Studies Program (LALS) and Latin American Recruitment and Educational Services Program (LARES) in a panel discussion about the Illinois DREAM Act. Learn what this bill means, how it came to be, what are current plans to implement it, and how students, staff, and communities can play a role in moving it forward. Leaders from the African, Asian, Polish and Latino communities will share some of the challenges that undocumented students face accessing higher education as well as strategies that can make this bill successful.
