DESCRIPTION:  Presented by: UIC Latino Cultural    Join us for a unique conversation with artist Jorge Méndez Blake, a mixed-media, conceptual artist from Guadalajara, Mexico, as he presents his work?a fusion of architecture and literature?which explores the complexity of modern times through a ?visual poetry? of images, sculptures, and installations.     	Jorge Méndez Blake is an architect by profession whose work revolves around books, libraries and literature. His work has been exhibited worldwide, and takes references from diverse cultural environments with the attempt to create previously non-existing connections between literature and architecture.
