Movement for Justice in El Barrio
On March, 21, the Latino Cultural Center hosted the Movement for Justice in El Barrio organization from New York City’s East Harlem. Juan Haro led an interactive dialogue on the experience of displacement shared by many people, primarily immigrants and how many of the people in the neighborhood came together to protest against their landlords. The audience participated in discussion and watched short video clips created by the members of the organization.
