Join Mexican Students de Aztlan (MeSA), Students for the Advancement of Freedom, Equality and Human Rights (SAFEHR), Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), and Union for Puerto Rican Students (UPRS) for the last Noche de Poetas (Poetry Night) of the Spring 2014 semester!

Don’t miss the amazing talented poets as they share their own poetic words on this month’s theme: “Celebrating Who We Are.”

In honor of UPRS’s 20th Anniversary of the Pa’Lante Conference, we welcome the UIC community to celebrate the vast accomplishments this student organization has made in the last two decades.

Leading the night will be our featured poet Marisol “Pinqy Rinq” Velez a UIC alumna. Also, special performance by singer and musician Emanuel Cruz visiting from Puerto Rico!
