- What if the American dream was only a dream?
- What happens to the thousands of undocumented students looking to finance their higher education? Or the 11 million who have no options for a pathway to citizenship?
Join us for a screening and conversation about Don’t Tell Anyone (No Le Digas a Nadie), a film about courage, facing insurmountable obstacles and the determination to fight for justice. In an environment where silence is often seen as necessary for survival, 25 year-old Angy Rivera steps out of the shadows to share her parallel journey of being undocumented.
Screening followed by discussion facilitated by Angy Rivera– star of the film, Lorena García– Associate Professor in Sociology & LALS, and Jocelyn Munguía Chávez– UIC student and FUA leader.
- Approx. 71 min.
All audiences are welcome to join us at this event. Captioning, ASL Interpretation and Audio-Description services will be available upon request by contacting us.
