1) “Awakening Hearts, Changing Lives – Traveling Mural: This collective art piece was created on a 24-feet x 8-feet canvas by UIC students and community members in collaboration with Maestro Hector Duarte to mobilize people to talk about social issues including access to higher education. This project was spearheaded by the Fearless Undocumented Alliance, a student organization on campus, along with the LCC and the Asian American Resource and Cultural Center in February 2016. See more at: UIC News Center!

2) “Chocolate: Drink of Gods, Food of Mortals” – Traveling Exhibit: This exhibit was displayed at the UIC Daley Library from April 2015 to September 2016 as the culmination of a 2014-2015 yearlong series of public programming centered on the topic of cacao to explore the relationship between culture, memory, food, and identity—from ancient Mesoamerica to the present.
