How do you express consensual love?
How can you practice Love as a value, towards your community?

Love is a candle with a spark of fire that spreads, but never runs out. The more you share, the more you spread that same warmth that got you through the winter cold. Make sure it stays growing never cease

There’s a reason they call it love making
a reason why they don’t call rape love making
Even though, sometimes, a partner, a date,
May think he’s entitled to making love with you,
Even when you say no
Even when you say yes first and then change your mind
Even when you say nothing, just because they’re your partner
or date

Consensual love is the only love
There is no such thing as nonconsensual love. Nonconsensual love is not love. It is violence. Love is my community has to look like choice and consideration and accountability; every day.

Like the hot rap verse that was spit earlier, self love isn’t selfish
Its bold, necessary. You can’t love others without loving yourself. I need to take my own advice

LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN !!!!
Hold each other accountable & call out, listen, take action

I think the biggest thing for us to do is to bring awareness & to educate. Other Latinos can still be ignorant – not in a bad way – about these topics. How are we to advocate for ourselves when we cannot provide education?

I give myself consent to love myself

Vote and if we can’t, educate ourselves so that we can influence those who can on both of our behalfs
