Argentine guitarist and composer Hernán Reinaudo will offer a tango concert that will take spectators on a journey throughout the history of tango. The tale begins in the brothels of the port of Buenos Aires where tango originated, with the music of black slaves, European immigrants and “gauchos.” Reinaudo will delight the audience with the tango songs of Carlos Gardel, tracing the evolution of tango through the tumultuous twenties and thirties, the great orchestras of the forties, and the rupture of Astor Piazzolla, concluding with contemporary tango.
- Hernán Reinaudo is one of the most outstanding guitarists of the new generation of tango musicians that has emerged over the last years in Argentina. Reinaudo has worked on more than 25 album productions which has given him to opportunity to travel and give concerts, workshops and classes about Argentine Tango.
- Guests will have an opportunity to purchase merchandise from Hernán Reinaudo cash or check will be received by artist.
