Their work reveals frameworks and strategies to address the disproportionate impacts of climate change and environmental pollution on communities of color, indigenous, and low-income earners. Students in the Environmental & Climate Justice course* will facilitate the conversations.
Executive Director of the United Tribes of Michigan, Frank Ettawageshik will talk about the adoption of the Tribal and First Nations Great Lakes Water Accord and his environmental justice work with the Great Lakes.
