Presented by: UIC Latino Cultural Center, the Study Abroad Office, and the Institute for the International Education of Students (IES Abroad)
Meet 3 UIC Latina/o students whose dreams to travel abroad were fulfilled. They will share how they were able to finance their study abroad experience, negotiate family concerns, and gain deeper understanding about the world. Their quest to become globally minded citizens–a 21st century necessity–has just begun… This could be your path too!
- Roxana Delgado – UIC Student, Majoring in Communications. Studied abroad in Oaxaca, Mexico (Summer 2014) and in Seville, Spain (Spring 2015)
- Gabriela Reno – UIC Graduate Student, Department of French and Francophone Studies. Studied abroad in Dakar, Senegal (Summer 2012) and Paris, France (Fall 2012)
- Ruben Bautista – UIC Student, Double Majoring in Political Science and Economics. Studied abroad in London, England (Summer 2015)
