What can ART do in an age of political turmoil and massive social inequalities!
This artist exchange project, created by the NMMA, will look at how Latin American and Latinx artists from Habana and Chicago are responding to recent political unrest marked by the death of Fidel Castro and the election of the United States’ 45th president.
Join us in a conversation with some of the project artists and curators to explore how they are feeling their way forward and influencing positive cultural change on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
FREE refreshments and admission
All audiences are welcome to join us at this program. Captioning, ASL Interpretation, and Audio-Description services will be available upon request by contacting the number above.
