An open forum for remembrance, education, and celebration
UIC community members are gathering to read excerpts of Mandela’s speeches, share stories of the anti-apartheid movement, discuss nonviolent strategies for social transformation, and celebrate the impact of Mandela’s life felt around the globe.
Please join us! This event will provide space to reflect, learn, and celebrate. You are welcome to pass through for a short time or to sit and stay a while.
