OPEN MIC!
Don’t miss the amazing talented poets as they share their own poetic words on this month’s theme: “Thankful for having you in my life.”
- How has someone helped you in a difficult moment of your life?
- What valuable lessons did you learn from this relationship?
- How did you come out stronger?
Leading the poetry will be our featured poet Antonio “Tony B” Benavides, a NEIU student whose music and poetry focuses on activism and perseverance.
If you require any accommodations please contact us at least three days before the event.
Co-sponsors: UIC student organizations MeSA, SAFEHR, SJP, and UPRS
