LCC Open House – Spring 2018

January 24, 2018

12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Presented by: UIC Latino Cultural Center

Want to get involved with the work of the Latino Cultural Center?

Join us for our Spring 2018 Open House and check out what we’re doing! Meet our wonderful staff and learn about our history, student resources, upcoming public programs, participate in our *Telling Our Stories initiative and learn about our Arts-Based Civic Dialogues. Did we mention we have the largest contemporary indoor murals in the City of Chicago? You have to see it to believe it! Come visit and see El Despertar de las Americas (The Awakening of the Americas).

*Telling Our Stories collects “first voice” stories about universal concerns that Latinos and people around the world share. From personal stories we can help understand each other, learn about creative solutions to solve common problems, and connect our aspirations and actions for a sustainable world.

FREE refreshments and admission

All audiences are welcome to join us at this event. Captioning, ASL Interpretation and Audio-Description services will be available upon request by contacting us.
