For their last summer together, best friends Oliver, Moises, and Hemingway embark on a road trip to the far-off town of Pedernales. A series of adventures triggered by strangers they meet on the road unexpectedly change their travel plans, causing the journey that began as a celebration of their friendship to end as a final farewell.
