OPEN MIC!
Don’t miss out on the amazing talented poets as they share their own poetic words on this month’s theme “Student Activism for Human Rights!”
Leading the night will be our featured poet Mylo Reyes.
- As students, how will obtaining a higher education influence your role and responsibilities in advocating for human rights?
- What human rights do you personally think are the most important?
- In what ways can students move forward collectively to bring change on campus and communities?
Mylo Reyes is a designer and writer who recently published a book on poetry. He is studying visual communications at the Illinois Institute of Art at Chicago and has been a featured poet in Peculiar Poetic Exhibitions as well as published many poems and essays in several literary magazines.
If you require any accommodations please contact us at least one week before the event.
