Trading Plates: A Recipe Collecting Workshop with the UIC Heritage Garden

Presented by: UIC Heritage Garden Student Group

From our garden to your kitchen, join us for a recipe card-making workshop! Bring your favorite recipe in mind and design your own recipe card to share it with us. We will select the best recipes and at the end of the month, we will feature one of the recipes on our website and social media as the Recipe of the Month!

Also, enjoy a live demonstration of some Heritage Garden recipes followed with a food-tasting.

Recipes that will be prepared:

  • Versatile Kale Salad
  • Breakfast Parfait
  • Cucumber Basil Lemonade

All audiences are welcome to join us at this event. Captioning, ASL Interpretation and Audio-Description services will be available upon request by contacting us.
