By far my favorite part is doing the individual data spreadsheets because I like understanding the key underlying themes behind people’s experiences. I’ve been learning a lot and having fun.

The research I’ve found most interesting is understanding the disparities between the North and South Sides of Chicago. I’ve always known the stereotypes associated with each side, but when you actually look at the physical differences in infrastructure between them, it’s shocking. These issues are more than just surface-level stereotypes, but there truly are resource inequities across Chicago that need to be addressed.
