People on the Move
Zona Abierta: People on the Move was presented in collaboration with the Arab American Cultural Center. Erika Guevara-Rosas led the presentation and discussion while focusing on Immigration issues and International Human Rights violations. Guevara-Rosas is currently the Americas Director at Amnesty International and a human rights lawyer with over two decades of experience in the field. Guevara-Rosas gave insights about her work through Amnesty International and highlighted their goals of providing justice, and freedom wherever it is denied by traveling to different countries and providing the necessary resources. Amnesty International assists and urges other to support through protest, writing letters, and advocating for social change to the local governments and other institutions.
