Politics of the Heart

The UIC Centers for Cultural Understanding and Social Change (CCUSC) and the UIC Heritage Gardenhosted the second Tea Talks of the semester, titled Politics of the Heart. The Tea Talks series was developed as a way of exploring the different cultural and traditional practices which people might use to deal with an illness or an issue. The talks are centered around the concept of well-being and remedy. On this day in particular, attendees discussed how we might remedy our current political conditions and the disappointments that we might have suffered.
