The Union for Puerto Rican Students (UPRS) hosted their 22nd annual Pa‘Lante Conference April 11-15, and welcomed three amazing panelists as they discussed the historical significance and impact of the Division Street “Riots” of 1966. Furthermore, Professor José E. López discussed the ways Mexican and Puerto Rican communities cooperated to create the LCC and the LARES Program at UIC.
