As you collected individual memory maps for the project, what was something that impacted and/or stuck with you?

One thing that greatly stuck out to me when collecting the memory maps was the difference in interpretation of the assignment. I liked seeing how I took a very literal take when mapping out environmental factors in my community while my friend mapped out the differences in her relationship to the environment.

How has your knowledge on environmental and climate justice grown as a result of the internship?

It has grown immensely! Through my public policy course I was gaining a more broad understanding of environmental and climate justice, one centered around the largest movements and white individuals.
