Building Determination for Self Love
On February 9, 2021 the UIC Latino Cultural Center hosted their first virtual Artivism.
This open art studio featured artists from the Art Peace Collective, a group of UIC students from various backgrounds, who are dedicated to spreading the message of healing through art.
The focus was creating artwork that is restorative and kind as we take care of one another during this CVOID-19 global pandemic.
Participants were encouraged to personalize their own Valentine's card and share experiences of joy, struggles, and determination.
