Heals & Feels: Voguing
On October 24th, 2018 the LCC hosted a Voguing workshop in partnership with the Gender and Sexuality Center where participants learned about it's origins and history. Benji Hart, our leading artist and facilitator, highloghted Voguing as a form of creative resistance, practiced historically by incarcerated, poor, homeless, trans and queer youth of color. Through this interactive movement workshop, participants explored everyday actions as vehicles for collective resistance.
