Getting Our Flowers – Healing & Mutual Aid
As part of UIC's Earth Month celebration, the UIC Latino Cultural Center partnered with the UIC Women’s Leadership and Resource Center.
Lucy Angel Camarena, cofounder of Flores Campo Santo, a floral company located in Chicago's La Villita neighborhood that centers cultural traditions, led a flower arrangement workshop in which participants explored concepts of community, wellbeing, and mutual aid.
