This is my favorite mask because of its floral design! I received it as a birthday gift. I wear it nearly everywhere.
This mask sends a message that I’m friendly & a lover of floral patterns. This mask represents a collective commitment to protect others by showing people that I am willing to wear this mask wherever, whenever, & for however long it takes.
This mask challenges the ideology of “to each their own”. COVID-19 affects everyone & therefore needs everyone’s best efforts to help stop it.
The COVID-19 Masking Project was developed by the UIC Latino Cultural Center (LCC) in partnership with the UIC Asian American Resource and Cultural Center (AARCC) to engage students, faculty, staff, and community members in a creative and meaningful way during the COVID-19 pandemic.
