Jeffrey Alton

Masked Selfie of Jeffrey Altonagainst a blue floral background with the title

I feel that by wearing my mask in public, which I’ve been doing since I started going out to the grocery store in March, keeps our front line workers safe. I have many family members that are essential/front line workers- nurses, grocery store employees, cooks, etc., who are working everyday to keep our country moving forward, and I feel like I am doing my part to keep our numbers low and contain the spread of COVID-19.

The COVID-19 Masking Project was developed by the UIC Latino Cultural Center (LCC) in partnership with the UIC Asian American Resource and Cultural Center (AARCC) to engage students, faculty, staff, and community members in a creative and meaningful way during the COVID-19 pandemic.
